Fermentation Project Supervisors

Excellent company is seeking individuals to supervise and assist in the development, optimization, technology transfer, and manufacturing of fermentation processes (microbial and mammalian cell culture processes). Individuals will supervise the fermentation project team and , if required, work as a team member to insure that project related task are executed in a scientifically and technologically correct manner and are compatible with current GMP and company SHE policies. Applicants must have proven skills in a team environment and must have experience in a biotech environment.
Positions involve shift work.

Requirements: Minimum of bachelor degree in a related science field; minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in fermentation processes ( at least 2 years as a supervisor); supervisor must have strong leadership, good problem solving skills, good planning and organizational skills.

Salary: 51,000 to 62,000 CAD plus 5% bonus target; salary dependent on education and relevant experience.
