Responsibilities: Responsible for designing, outsourcing, monitoring and interpreting toxicology studies performed by the company to guide discovery efforts or to advance drugs through the drug development process. The director is responsible for the scientific, technical, and administrative management of staff in the conduct of toxicology studies. Also serves as an expert on the preparation of quality reports and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications: PhD in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Pathology, or related field. Minimum of 7 years experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry. DABT a plus. Understanding of FDA and ICH regulations and guidelines. Experience writing all types of regulatory documentation. Experience with drug discovery and/or development.

Salary: $100k + based on experience.
