CIO

Our client seeks to convert non-profit multi-hospital systems to investor-owned entities while preserving and enhancing their ability to fulfill their missions. At this time, we are exclusively, recruiting for an experienced CIO for their region based in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities include:
· Work with the corporate, regional and facility’s management team and physicians to develop and information technology strategic plan for the respective areas.
· Manage the information systems operating and capital budgets.
· Manage IS vendor relationships by negotiating contracts, monitoring billing and resolving all issues.
· Develop confidence within the organization and with the physicians that information systems can and will meet their needs.
· Coordinate and provide overall project management for system implementations.
· Ensure, maintain and enforce corporate policies, procedures and standards are applied accordingly.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:
· Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or related IS field required. Masters of Business Administration or Hospital Administration desirable.
· Must have 10 years increasing responsibility position within Information Systems.
· Must have experience in Healthcare Service Organization with heavy transaction numbers.
· Previous experience with a multiple vendor organization.
· Multi-software package environment experience is ideal.
· Strategic thinker that can develop, understand and communicate a vision of the future of information technology.
