ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF BIOTECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT

A rapidly growing specialty pharmaceutical company, has an immediate opening for the following position in an east-coast location:

Associate Director of Biotechnology Development

Description:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Biotechnology this position is responsible for directing Barr Research biologics product development efforts. This position requires effective leadership as well as management of internal and external resources. Major responsibilities include development of project concepts in cooperation with senior management; project tracking and reporting; and assisting with potential licensing of new products.

Requirements:
· Advanced degree in biological sciences or biochemistry and relevant business experience, Ph.D. or M.D. would be ideal
· Project management abilities
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation experience
· Knowledge of cGMP and global regulatory guidelines
· Expertise with relevant computer software (MS project, Word, Excel, etc.)
